Destination: Gainesville Fashion Week 2010
Gainesville Fashion Week is a 5-day long series of events that brings fashion, art, music and culture to the Gainesville community. The theme for Gainesville Fashion Week 2010 was “Destination Gainesville.”

As Director of Graphic Design I was responsible for designing all event materials including brochures, posters, tickets, staff badges, oversized banners, promotional items and t-shirts as well as copywriting and photography with an air-travel inspired theme.

The Courtyards at University of Florida
The Courtyards Apartments at UF, under a new management company, came to us at neutral7 design group to rebrand and reconnect to the student community in an attempt to raise awareness of the property among preview students and incoming freshmen.

The biggest challenge for the property was to generate traffic to the leasing office, which is located on 3rd Ave. The property owner also wanted to emphasize the proximity to the University of Florida campus by including a Gator theme to the branding.In an effort to solve both of these, we developed the new branding for the Courtyards with a “Follow the Gator Tracks” theme. The branding on site includes traditional Orange and Blue Gator graphics paired with a playful teal and pretty green to tie in all the colors found on the property.

We added a realistic Gator track illustration to directional signage and direct mail items to encourage UF students to follow the tracks to the leasing office..

Gainesville Fashion Week 2011

The theme for Gainesville Fashion Week 2011 was hollywood gossip and glamour. We wanted to bring fashion week straight to the people who consume it the most. Bright pinks, abbreviated slogans, and flash photography was prevalent in this year’s branding. I designed the logo and promotional materials for the event as well as art directed a group of interns.

In 2011 we introduced the “Hot Card” to the streets of Gainesville. As a form of guerilla marketing to promote the Model Casting Call, the hot cards were handed out to individuals who the GFW team deemed “Hot enough for the paparazzi.” Photos were taken of all the potential models and posted to the GFW facebook page where they were encouraged to tag themselves and their friends as a way to interact with the brand.

This logo and stationary package was designed for circa82, a fictional vintage t-shirt company. The collateral package includes die-cut business cards, a letterhead and envelope.
